Associate Professor Sue Crengle
Sue Crengle (Kāi Tahu, Kāti Māmoe and Waitaha) obtained her medical, Master of Public Health and PhD from Auckland University. She holds specialist qualifications in Public Health Medicine and General Practice. She is an Associate Professor Hauora Māori at the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Dunedin School of Medicine. Sue also practices as a part-time GP at Invercargill Medical Centre. Sue’s research interests include inequities in health, health services research, quality of care, and child and youth health.
Professor Kirsten McCaffery
NHMRC Professorial Research Fellow; Director of Research and Director, Sydney Health Literacy Lab, Sydney School of Public Health, University of Sydney. Kirsten has an international reputation in shared decision making and health literacy. She is co-founder of Wiser Healthcare – a research collaboration of over 30 researchers across the Universities of Sydney, Bond and Monash.

Asmara Jammali-Blasi is the Project Manager leading the implementation of Choosing Wisely across Victoria as part of the Safer Care Victoria Choosing Wisely Victorian Collaboration. She has previously worked as an epidemiologist for NPS MedicineWise as well as for the Northern Territory Department of Health. Asmara has completed a Masters in Public Health and has recently completed an MBA.
